Inntal motorway (A12 - compulsory toll sticker ["Vignette"], A13 - Vignette plus toll charge) - exit Zillertal, B169 to Mayrhofen, Tux road to Hintertux (Motorway exit Zillertal to Hintertux: 50 km). The Tux road from Mayrhofen to Hintertux can be used throughout the year. However, in case of snow chains are compulsory! Maximum vehicle weight 16 tons, no trailers allowed. Maximum vehicle height 4.2 m.

ICE to Jenbach/Tirol, then use the Zillertalbahn or the Zillertalbus to Mayrhofen, followed by the Postbus to Tux.
