The Nature Ice Palace is open all year round, every day and is open to children from 6 years old.

In the Nature Ice Palace there is a constant temperature of 0° C all year round.

Some activities require an online booking or pre - registration.

The start of all tours is our container office. This is located on the Hintertux glacier, right next to the cable car station of Gletscherbus 3.
So you go high up with three cable cars of the Hintertuxer Gletscherbahn ("Gletscherbus 1, 2 and 3") up to 3,250 m. For the ascent you have to calculate about 45 minutes. When leaving the cable car station "Gletscherbus 3" you will see our container office on the left side.

We recommend sturdy shoes with a good tread and grip, as well as winter clothing for the visit to the Nature Ice Palace. Gloves and sunglasses are also advantageous.
