The Nature's Ice Palace is located at about 3.220 m above sea level. Due to the high altitude and physical demands, visitors must meet specific health and mobility criteria for safety and enjoyment.
To participate in the tour, you should meet the following requirements:
- be adventurous and curious
- be physically fit and mobile
- be sure-footed
- be able to walk the 200 m long way over snow to the entrance of the Nature's Ice Palace and back, half of the way is downhill (and uphill after the tour)
- be free of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases
- be able to climb ladders (up to 1,5 m long)
- not suffer from claustrophobia
- be 6 years old or able to fulfill the above requirements independently
- Babies and toddlers are not allowed to visit the Nature's Ice Palace, also not on the arm of a parent or in a carrier
